It's Tail Time! Gex 64 is silly and janky and packed with outdated references that I don't even think 90's kids would get. It's funny how over time you forget how poorly a game from your childhood controls, cuz I don't remember it being this finnicky! I wonder how much the rerelease improves it...

Namco Museum 64 is an interesting version of the collection... the games are in slightly different resolutions with slightly different audio, but they still play pretty accurate to the arcade games. A bit bare-bones with just 6 games, but still good for a quick round or two of Dig Dug :]

If you've ever clicked on one of those "90's jungle mix" videos, there's a good chance some music came from Ridge Racer 64 :] Immaculate vibes, this game has. Despite dated graphics, it still feels like you can feel the wind in your hair while racing down awesome mountain tracks!

Pokemon Snap is the last N64 game I bought before deciding to make a conscious effort to collect em! A very cute, laid-back on-rails game I played with my BFF as a kid! It's not my pace anymore, but I still hold it close to my heart :] Maybe I should try that recent-ish sequel one of these days...

Extreme-G is not that extreme. I said before that the N64 has plenty of great racing games, this is NOT one of them. I picked it up because the cover art looked cool, but was underwhelmed when I played it. Maybe the only N64 game I regret getting lol. I like the vibes though, it's still got vibes.

Here's a weird one. As a kid I saw an old friend play it for a bit and I was CONVINCED this was Metroid 64 well into adulthood, yet Metroid 64 never existed? Turns out it was Body Harvest, a 3rd person shooter where you save humans from big bugs. I'm not crazy for thinking this was Metroid, am I?

DIDDY KONG RACING! It's hard to choose what my fav N64 game is, but this might be it! There's no shortage of great racing games on the system, but this one's physics and track design take the gold medal for me :] I felt so triumphant when I beat Wizpig for the first time, quite the challenge!!!

new toys hehehe got these for my Analogue3D without even realizing they also work on other platforms, this is definitely what I'll use for playing n64 games on the NSO service, also N64 inspired games on my pc like Pseudoregalia and Aero GPX

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! This little known indie game is the first Zelda game I actually beat! I have fond memories of playing it with my mom and my best friend :] Despite being a huge fan of Zelda, the only merch I have is this fan-made poster my friend gave me (artist unknown)

F-Zero X, my 2nd favorite racing game on the N64! I love the balance of speed and combat, anything to win the race! Every song in the soundtrack still bumps in my head, too >:D Aero GPX is the only spiritual successor I've played to really recapture this game's feel, I should play it more tbh

1080° Snowboarding is another game I played very early in life and what I consider the pinnacle of extreme sports games! I never got super good at this game, but everything in it just oozes personality! :] last year, I even doodled designs for a hypothetical spiritual successor, maybe one day...

each paycheck I spin this wheel and buy whatever it lands on just barely missed Paper Mario this time, phew, that one is expensive

Cruis'n World on the N64 was the very first videogame I ever played! It's still one of my favorite arcade racers, I even have a flyer for the arcade version on my wall :] I played this a lot with my siblings and mom as a kid, but it wasn't until recently that I beat the final Moon level!

I missed Terraria, so glad I'm rediscovering my love for it :]
