I love waking up on a crisp fall morning. Walking the dog in my cozy sweater. On my way to write at the coffee shop around the corner, all posted up with a hot delicious beverage, watching the world go by. ☺️

I’ve been pulling a tarot card each morning for all of October (and I little less consistently before then) as a way to sort of reflect and set intentions for my day and lemme tell ya, I highly recommend. It’s been so nice and surprisingly meditative despite being such a simple thing.

Just to be clear: I have not, do not, and will not EVER use AI to write, draw, or do anything related to created comics. I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating because I’d hate for anyone to ever think I’m so classless and unoriginal that I’d stoop to using AI in any facet of my work. 💖

Base level, success is holding a finished comic in my hands. Big picture, being able to put out at least 1 issue per year via crowdfunding. Anything more than that would be a huge bonus.

I have an idea for an Amish character I want to write someday and I 100% hope to have this experience while researching. Dispel all my misconceptions! Compel me to write things I never expected to!
