Is it serious that I can't use the calendar app in Windows 11 unless I set up Outlook ? It's just a calendar app I don't want to connect to anything. I am trying really hard to cope with the necessity of using Windows 11 but there are decisions taken that just infurate me.

Windows 11 is abysmal dog shit. I finally had to use it for the first time on my work computer and I have yet to see how a "modern look with sweet animations" can justify making everything slower and unresponsive And I swear to god they are so desperate for anyone to use their trash copilot.
