I kinda hate that there are now characters in fiction I used to like and I respect their development/writing but I realize I don't really like them anymore as much after growing a bit older. It's tricky cause I noticed it's most conflicting with characters I'm supposed to root for, but are asshats.

It's hilarious that I'm really getting into a few specific songs in the FF franchise despite not having played a single game from that series.

I think the fact that I've genuinely been uncomfortable before at some kids shows because I still haven't learned the morals they are trying to teach is a testament to both my insecurity and the lack of character development I have.

I just realized I seriously submitted a whole ass college essay with some basic vocabulary mistakes. No wonder my ass got rejected 😭

I wonder if my brain just has a hard time switching gears, but I notice that it seems like I can only really be drawing one of my characters at a time sometimes. I might get a good streak on one, then if I start trying to draw another it ends up bad.

It might be a resilience skill issue but I think about how we are supposed to touch grass and while it's healthy to engage with irl communities I reflect always on how hard I find it is to make strong connections with people in real life. It always feels like I do but am eager to leave them behind.

BTW sorry if I talk about my characters way too much guys lmao. To be fair I don't have much to say about them much beyond their designs but even if I did of course it's probably better for me to show and not give a lore dumb, anyways. The brainrot I have for them comes and goes but it's returned.

I may not need to be so rigorous about it, but for my slime characters I tend to be picky about the number of "squiggles" that make up the mouth shape. I have realized only recently that with Marmalade I have assumed it was 3 (on each side) but in some illustrations it's 2.

This is really cool, and it reminds me that I tend to forget that ceramic sculpting is a thing. I think I'm so used to seeing ceramics as pots and bowls and jars but I forgot that in school I had to do some sculpture too which is neat.

I will do my best to practice patience with it but I find that the one OC I have rn who's design seems to undergo tweaks constantly is still undergoing tweaks and my changing interests in how to explore their design (and character even). I'm gonna try to start with enjoying it first then see.
