I read an article in Journal of Hydrology and am dumbfounded by errors. I cannot believe the reviewers and the editor didn't catch them. Recently I saw several dumbfounding errors in articles in highly-cited journals. They don't change the conclusions of the studies, but it's shame anyway.

I have fond memory of her and am saddened by the loss.

I read (rather skimmed) an article in Journal of Hydrology today and frowned upon an absurd error. In the introduction, the authors said they have 3 research questions but listed only 2! How come reviewers and editors didn't catch it?

I read an article today in an #AGU journal. The authors reported Spearman's correlations using p in place of r. For example, they wrote like, x and y have a negative correlation (p = -0.4). Unless I am misunderstanding, this is another example of mind-boggling error in an AGU journal.
