"A perfectly reasonable desire is just to have predictability and routine. Fixing things that are broken is also admirable! We need more people willing to fix instead of throw away and buy new."

[ I kinda really want this bluetooth speaker. Not only is it an adorable borg cube but it also looks perpetually surprised.

Taking a step back, Hugh raised his hands in surrender. "Whoa! That looks dangerous. How did you manage to do that? Is it some kind of augment?"

"How can we..." He stopped himself mid question as he thought about it. "I don't think I want to know how to bottle someone." His nose wrinkled involuntarily as she offered him a taste. The smell alone was enough to deter him. "Oh, no thank you. I don't think it would sit well in my stomach."

"I was unaware that love could be bottled. Are you certain that consuming that is safe?"

He ponders her question for a moment. "I'd have the say those red wires intrigue me most. They are rather vibrant, and then combined with those small black diamonds, it makes for a striking combination."

"I am happy we met as well. I could not imagine my life without you in it. You have enriched my experiences more than anyone else." He gave her a genuine smile.

"Yes, I was a Borg Drone, and yes, the Borg are the people with the square spaceships," Hugh confirmed with a nod. "Although technically they are cubes." He smiled and brought a hand to his face and traced the scarring. "This was where my Borg augments were installed and then later removed."

Hugh visibly flustered. "That is probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. I think the world is better with you in it too."

Hugh chuckled at that and gave her a small but kind smile. "Thank you. I'm glad you think it doesn't look out of place. It was hard getting used to looking like this. I had no plans of losing any parts of my body again. I've already goth through that when I was assimilated and became a Borg drone."

Hugh couldn't help the small smile that graced his features. He knew she would have handled the situation as a professional, but he enjoyed the playful side of her more than he said out loud. "I'm glad you didn't lick them. You don't know where they've been." +

Looking over the specs Hugh can't help but be impressed. "That is something I have never seen before, nor thought of. I do have to ask though what the 'backrooms' are and why you're sending probes there? This is all fascinating. The potential use is endless."

Hugh gave her a soft smile. "It's okay. I know it does look a little out of place. I lost my biological eye quite some ago. It doesn't hurt, thankfully, and it looks a lot better than it used to."

Seeing Xi get flustered flustered Hugh in return. He couldn't help the smile working its way over his face. "Seems like the Borg assimilated your tongue, or rather and ex Borg," he joked playfully. "It's comforting to me I think because it reminds me of order and structure. +

Hugh couldn't help but smile at her. He wasn't surprised, but rather endeared by her confession. "Plucking the pustules does sound like something you would enjoy. I trust you are taking the proper precautions when handling them?" +

"I disagree. You are deserving of encouragement and support, especially when you're onto something. Beep-boop-boob is an interesting choice for a pickup line. I'm not sure which I would pick though. Probably boop. It sounds comforting for some reason. Which would you pick, all or one?"

Hugh couldn't help but smile back. "While you picked neither offered option, I am not surprised. You forge your own way forward and I respect that about you. Also, why pick when you could have all three?"

"Close."

"Borg activities seem to be increasing not just in our universe but in the adjoining universes as well. This is troubling. Any thoughts as to why?" #OpenRP #StarTrekRP #Borg

Listening to her singing, Hugh couldn't help but give a small smirk of amusement. "Fourteen pustules? That's quite the amount. What would such an amount cost me?"

"You know, I would actually like a copy of that list. For one thing I'm incredibly curious as to what ships can offer in terms of environmental variables, plus I think a person's choice in vessels to serve on offers decent insight into them as a person."
