Here is another blast from the past as I continue to accidentally new find ways to relive my childhood. I was at New Horizons mall the other day and found a little German shop selling Moravian stars. I had to get one! It was expensive, and bigger than expected, but I love it!

I checked out Calgary’s largest garage sale at the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Centre. So many people! Nothing too exciting (will I ever find a Walkman?) but I did haggle my way into two Corningware mugs. These are straight from my 1980s childhood! Seriously, did anybody NOT have these mugs?

A lovely day of excess consumerism. The day was spent all over the city grabbing some last minute Items for my upcoming trip to Japan.

I completely agree with the sentiments of this post but will add that AHS is full of brilliant folks, and despite the government constantly hamstringing us, we always find a way to take care of patients. I'm not sure we've crossed the line of complete failure, but we're marching right toward it.
