Holy cow the latest Windows update for my gaming PC has completely ruined it. The lag is everywhere. Previously smooth operation is now no longer the case. Can't play a single game on it. Is this my punishment for using Linux most of the time?

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced. Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

My body naturally wakes up at 05:30 every day, including weekends. It's great in summer when the sun is up early and I can enjoy a bright start to the day. It's not so great in winter when it's cold and dark until lunchtime. The upside of this is that I finish my working day at 14:00 💪

Had another dive into storage crates at the weekend and found more cracking games. I am a huge fan of the Mario & Luigi games, ever since the original GBA version, so it's no surprise to see the sequels in my collection.

After rummaging through my games storage boxes I realise that I may need to take a few months off of work to actually play some of them. Best not to look at my Steam backlog for a while.

More games that I found in storage. Can you believe that I haven't even opened some of these? I think it's time for me to dust off my 3DS and play some awesome games.

I decided to add some reproduction labels to my G1 Ultra Magnus inner robot. It makes a huge difference to the appearance of the toy. After so many years have passed since I last applied stickers to a toy I found it quite challenging.

Does anybody know how the stickers on G1 Ultra Magnus chest plate should look? When I was a kid I applied them as you can see in the photo below which appears to be the way they appear on the box art. But I see others have applied them differently. Confused.

I tend to display figures on the top of my speakers and today, because I love Transformers G1 cassettes, I have the Kiss Players set of tapes on show. Cassettes and speakers tend to go well together right?

I don't do toy photography anymore, probably because I don't have many toys or much time, but I used to enjoy experimenting with toys and backdrops.

When a new game I wanna play is released I seem to go through the same process every time. If it's for a single platform, get it on that platform. If it's multi platform, get the PC version so I can play it on my gaming PC, the living room mini PC or my SteamDeck. Usually I default to PC.
