Breaking my silence on here to scream into the void. Mum hospitalised with fluid on her lungs last week, mini stroke yesterday. Find out today my contract isn't being extended beyond end of Sept because of funding cuts. Add that to the rest of the years events... I'm tired y'all.

Work and things may have been shitty lately but today I got an email that brightened my day. I nominated our midwife from when Next Gen was born and found out today she's won an award (though she doesn't know yet) and they want us to come as a family to say a few words next week!

What a week, and it's only Tuesday. My 98 year old nan, after years of false alarms, passed away yesterday evening. Not unexpected by any means but still sad. This morning my baby daughter is looking like she's got chicken pox. Whatever the third thing is, I don't want it.

We get some good news regarding our neighbours housing people finally looking to take legal action to evict them. The police raid their house today but no one is in. She returns home and starts hurling insults at us blaming it all on us. Understandably, I'm now anxious as heck.

My neighbours continue to astound me. Yesterday I had to shout at their 12 year old because he was vaping and proceeding to spit over our fence every time he took a puff on it. He then proceeded to drop a c bomb and reckoned "he could take me".
