Really enjoyed being in a
#SBLAAR24
panel on gender and Revelation. My paper highlighted how men in our field continue to undercite women and gender minorities. It was striking (or not) how few men were present for the panel.

At the panel to discuss Noah's Arkive (Cohen and Yates) on Saturday at 12:30 with Religion & Ecology we're pondering things like "the difficulties of preserving a community against deluge," (widely construed) "about who gets included and who excluded"

Pastors, this might be worth following up on. We have a rare opportunity to intervene with young people (and seniors) to mitigate radicalization. Both groups are targets for recruitment. Don’t be fooled by the islamophobic myth that only Muslims radicalize young people. Christian extremists do too.

I know there is a lot of talk about Bluesky being hostile to Gazans (and I know that my post started a lot of it) but I want to say that of all the platforms I’ve been on I haven’t seen a more organized group to defend Gazans- not Palestine- I’ve seen plenty of that other places- but actual Gazans
