So far, I think the most value for me with the Switch 2 has been just enjoying the performance boosts on so many Switch 1 games.

Still trying to find a good art portfolio platform to move off of Deviantart to. There seems to be so much division between these new platforms, its hard to know whats what. Its one reason why I haven't been collecting a lot of my illustrations in the last few years online anywhere.

I get a little sad when I see Japan doing cool corporate collabs with illustrators, but then in the US, our collabs are generally with some social media influencer or an illustrator that gets no recognition. 😭

Visited Card Secret in Ikebukuro in Japan. A well known card shop in the area! They have a wall for Pokemon artists that have visited the shop. I was asked to join the wall, for my Pokemon Art Academy Tangrowth card. The Goomy illustration on the wall is one of the Japanese Art Academy winners too!

Had the fortunate opportunity to celebrate and meet with Imakuni-sama. He's been a staple within Pokemon Card Game history. Beyond the character, as an illustrator myself, I've always appreciated his varied artistic styles, between 2D and 3D. An icon!~

I guess you know you've both been doing it for too long and that you have kind of made it when you have to Google search your own work in order to remember how to draw old characters you've designed. 😅
