After 2 years of being buried the shed “station and marshalling yard” for the chicken feed trains has remerged from being buried due to the outside being weather damaged and having to hurriedly empty a double garage and store items. Sadly the rest of the garden railway has been flattened.

Morning all. The weathers playing havoc with my plans today. I’m dressed in my “builders gear” because I need to drill and refit, and replumb the outside tap, but that involves a big sift through tools and the time without rain to get though my industrial brick walls. Wish me luck please! 🙏

I’m beyond angry to receive the total of £15 to cover all the items destroyed or unretrievable from my car fire. Despite receipts for much more than this figure being submitted the announcement of a “10% deduction per year of ownership” has shafted me. The cost of replacing the dash cam alone is £50

Finally! 5 or 6 days since the initial plan the car has been washed and hoovered out. Now it’s time for a rant. Dear mechanics, when I trust MY car to you with its armrests down, inside lights set on doors open, and boot light set on open, I EXPECT to get it back the same way. Thank you. 🙏

I’ve never seen such a high PV generation

Managed to finish work an hour early so I’m finishing re-ripping the pile of CD’s that windows some how screwed up into the wrong format for the car. A task made much more of an arse ache by having to type all the artists and track titles in! Progress? Give me fckin strength!

A healthy 23.2kw generated today so far, the impact of the cloud build up can be seen on the 2nd picture showing the generation graph. Hopefully with no import overnight I can continue to bank the export building my credit balance.

It’s an early long break before a crammed later evening of deliveries. Unlike last nights country route tonight I’m on the edge of fegg hayes estate, one of Stoke’s most deprived and crime ridden areas. It’s not the worst by any stretch!

Solar PV going strong at the moment. Grid power is off until batteries below 35% so nothing drawn overnight. Will probably be exporting by 1pm. A few pesky clouds here and there and the cold wind helping keep the loft temp down makes it more efficient.

Morning. The weathers iffy here. So of course one of this mornings tasks is to wash the car. Also ironing 2 weeks worth. And if time reripping some cd’s to mp3 format as apple has changed the format and they now can’t play in my car. Work looms later. Also- need help, how can I stop my chest hair?

Dear diary. A Physically tough day, up at 5:30am, tremors started when I got to work, 23 drops in increasing unforcasted heat (thanks Siri for that). Arrived back at store 45 mins late and late clocking off (as always). My food delivery was first drop and I wasn’t home for it. Tea, gym, and union. Z

Well, the plans I made for today that were within my control have all been achieved. Everything planned for today by others has failed. I could have had that extra night at the mere. feeling grumpy! 😡 Still I’m showered and ready for early work shift tomorrow, after the jobs are car wash and gym.

Window cleaner just texted to say he was cleaning the windows tomorrow. This so I give him access. It’s amazing how often he comes now the price has increased due to the new conservatory. Call me a cynic but they haven’t been cleaned so often in years.

Solar PV update I’ve been away for most if the last 2 weeks so I am just giving a summary. April installers projection 456kw, actual 562kw. Last year 577kw. May installers projection 569kw. Actual so far 106kw, last year was 666kw for the month.

Heat pump cop figures. I’ve been away for most of the last 2 weeks so the house has had to be heated from cold both times. Last weeks cop 2.9 caused by an abnormal reading on the hot water This weeks cop 3.35 with normal readings. Lifetime cop is 3.36. I will be enabling quiet mode tonight.

Gardiner just phoned to cancel coming today. But this time I knew he wouldn’t be coming. Frustrated that I could have stopped the extra night at budworth mere after all.

Honesty has its price. I bought a dash cam for my old car, a few weeks later my dad asked for one for his birthday. I needed to send the receipt in as it was destroyed in the car fire. I paid £10 minus staff disc, but when I bought dads the price increased to £40 guess which receipt I submitted! 😆

Morning dear diary. Work phoned to cancel today’s disciplinary and to tell me the circumstances. I’m dumbfounded. Meanwhile it’s a washing and cleaning day, disabled road tax sorted for the car but it now needs to go back to the trader over the engine management problem that affected my tow home.

Evening dear Diary. I was supposed to be having a final night at the lake campsite on my own due to a union meeting interrupting my holiday but a request for assistance in a disciplinary has put a stop to that idea. Arrived home at 7, car played up. I’m unpacked and knackered. Cya tomorrow

Morning dear diary. Just had morning flag thanking the Marshall and folks are leaving early. I have 2 days left. A work union meeting interrupts my stay tomorrow. The clouds are leaden and rain threatens. Time for dunking biscuits in my coffee and I’ve volunteered for 2 rallies and a holiday in 27.

Went to Dunham Massey NT house and gardens. Felt ok when I left the caravan but when I got out of the car the tremors started and I was unsteady even with my walking stick. Hats off to the staff/volunteers for procuring me a mobility scooter so I could go around the grounds in safety. Thank you 🙏

Morning dear diary. A dry but cool night in the van, heating on low kept me cosy. This morning the car is having its AC regassed. Then I will play guess the weather. The sky is leaden and I need to choose my location appropriately. National trust or English heritage to visit later.

Earlier I took a stroll down to the mere at the bottom of the rally field. Budworth sailing club had a few boats going around. It was too cold to sit and watch.

Well tonight I’ve drank my final alcoholic drink. My liver is improving but I had a little wine left which i decided to restrict to being drunk when away in my caravan. And that is that.

Wondering when my content filmed by the efl and Skybet will air! Had a cameraman follow me for 3 hours at the football and an interview afterwards that lasted an hour. Nervous 😬

Morning dear diary - a wet night and morning in he caravan, the mist is lifting but it’s gloomy. I have the full set of daily tasks todo first toilet/waste/fresh water. Then need to run to leisure sales because all the fun I’ve had recently I forgot I was in my last loo blu. Then hopefully a walk.

I might be on the efl football league show tonight. 3 hours of a cameraman plus commentary plus an interview. All to do with the “field of vision” tablet trial I’ve been privileged to be part of.

Morning dear diary. A beautiful start to the day at herons nest rally site. Blazing sun although a nip in the air. All the windows and sunroofs open during breakfast. The water run saw me get a view of cattle drinking in the mere. Just renewed my football season ticket. Then out and about. Laters ❤️

Chilling in the caravan, hearing on to remove the evening chill. A double bill of countdown on the iPad to catch up and posted my brother a condolence card over his dog. Had 2 glasses of wine out of my final ever bottle. Feel relaxed after several months of frenzied storm. Good night. Cya tomorrow.
