Sculpting these was particularly fun. For objective markers I probably overdelivered, but I was working with some excellent concept art and I really wanted to make something unique. Yay!

Over the last two weeks my partner had to do a little assignment for class. Make a very simple game in scratch. Over the time we added more and more stuff and now it's way too complex for the assignment. Anyway. Random slime farmer mock-up. I think it outgrew scratch as well.

I love the Xeku Eins from Gundam, but the HG kit is maybe the worst engineered bandai kit I own. The ammo feed chute for the gun is a very stiff but bendable plastic which keeps forcing the gun out of the hand. Solution? spend a week making an actually flexible feed chute.

Nothing shows how much I am in a US bubble then today. Nobody talks about the Russian drone incursion into Poland. But instead about the shooting of some activist or politician - which happens at least once a month it feels like. I don't even know how to make the bubble more euro focused.

I don't think I've ever really shared them on here, but one of my projects I'm still very proud of are the vehicles I sculpted for 2d6 wargaming. These were designed to stand up to the most detailed 1/285 models out there and I think we succeeded.

Concept work for Clash of the Ascended -

Finished my half of the Halo Flashpoint box. Pretty happy with the outcome despite the roughness. A mold release on the figure tray of the box is rubbing off the base paint and makes it impossible to repaint without cleaning the bases with alcohol. Odd. #HALO #ManticGames #HaloFlashpoint

Quick redesign UI for Kill All Crows. First is mine, second is original. Scattered UI elements (see original)is not a good solution IMO. Reduced eye movement and added juice. My bulky UI is problematic, as enemies come and shoot from the areas covered by the UI. #killallcrows #UIUX #gamedev

Forget reinventing the wheel, I'm reinventing model railroading under the guise of miniature wargaming. 6mm "single-car diesel multiple unit". Articulated bogies (using keyed keys) and magnetically retained couplers so a clumsy bump will only dislodge the magnet, not break the model.
