You gotta do things for YOU first and for most, becuase you LIKE doing it, not because you're chasing a number. As for meeting new people, it's something that WILL happen naturally, not forced. People will gravitate to others with similar interests, you just gotta give it more than a few weeks.

I'm seeing a lot more younger and newer generation furries getting either discouraged about their art "not getting attention" or that they "aren't popular like ___ artist". If that is your mindset starting out as someone working with a creative medium in this fandom breathe and take a step back 1/2
