Today at our Assembly we looked at being safe near water. We had our amazing trip to the beach on Friday and had talked about safety at the beach. Last week. Today we looked at being safe near the canal. We liked practicing floating like a star fish!

A huge thank you to all our wonderful nursery and P2/1 families for joining us at our Bookbug Summer special this afternoon. We had such a great time. The highlight was definitely our visit from Big Bookbug. Photos to follow! 🥰 🎶 🎵

*NURSERY* We have been harvesting some of our homegrown lettuce from our nursery garden to have as a larder option at lunch time. 🥬 #Growyourown #Vegpatch

*NURSERY* We have really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a butterfly in real time. We watched the caterpillars grow, make their cocoon and then watched intently as they eventually emerged into beautiful butterflies. We released them at the end of last week in our nursery garden. 🪴 🐛 🦋

We had another wonderful Baby/Toddler Bookbug session this morning. We explored with the egg shakers, the rhyme puppets & enjoyed a story. A huge thank you to everyone who made it along. Looking forward to our next session on Wednesday 17th June at 10.30am. All welcome! 😃 🎶 🎵

Lots of fun on our Nursery and School trip to Silver Sands, Aberdour today! 💛

A fantastic trip to Silver Sands, Aberdour today. So much fun, exploring, playing and having the best time! 💛

Yesterday Primary 2/1 continued their investigation 🫆 . We used tally marks to record our foot sizes and then made a pictograph. A further finger print clue was discovered so we took our own fingerprints.

Primary 2/1 were shocked to discover all our money for our shop had been stolen. We measured the 2 footprints found at the scene and compared them to our own footprints but none of our prints are big enough to be the culprits!

Well Done to this amazing, very talented girl! I had the privilege of attending her NYCOS concert. She sang with confidence and gave an amazing performance. ⭐️ I know she has been working hard all year and it showed! So proud of you! 💛

Primary 2/1 had lots of fun on Friday hunting for coins to practice identifying their value. Thank you to our P6 children for organising and supporting.

Our wee ones in nursery have been coming to our school assemblies with their buddies! Our buddies have been setting an excellent example to them. Our wee ones loved Mrs Leckie’s Minecraft puzzle! 💛
