Currently I post art work. Before the Hadean Eon, I rode the grid as stardust.
pinned post!
Just for fun!!! First time I posed this it got compressed, too blurry. So I deleted. I compressed this one myself. So, if it looks good after uploading, it will stay. Otherwise, not.

2005 working in the mountains in Colorado, and driving to work in a blizzard (I was from Florida- I didn’t know any better). I stopped at an overlook, and quick-sketched this site. I returned on a misty day and finished it. Blizzard, pastels, 21 x15 in.

this is the type of question you’d expect from an aged uncle, not a henchman mucking around in the code that runs the US govt

So I worked on the torso shading to pull it all together. Am not sure how much a casual view will notice the difference, but for me it’s more in tune with the natural flow of the dancer’s form.

On Leadership Where is our fearless leader? Afraid to come out and tell us, What a great man he is? During this tragic moment? He has the best brain. He has the best words. Where is his best hidden? Today.

2010, I worked in Dover, NH for some time. While there I used to pass this old abandoned house every day. One winter, after a big snow storm, I stopped and sketched this. It was cold and took two days to complete - quickly - you know, cold.

I vary the chronology of posts. This, from my youth, when Viet Nam was high in our thoughts, may just also be a metaphor re our current worries. “The Administration”, 1970.

I posted a video animation as a test (19 sec, 24fps). Result, too blurry and slow - so I removed it. It’s probably better to link videos, at least currently.

I'm trying to figure out how to use BlueSky. I'm not a journalist, political analyst, scientist (unless you include code), or many other "ists". So what can I add to a social media town hall? I never kept a journal of my work, I simply created and sold it. Here's a painting from 1974.
