M'kay. It's clear I need to be more specific. Twitter is dead and Threads is just numbers with no substance. Social media is the friends you make along the way. Stop looking at your metrics.

Bluesky isn't trying to become a viable alternative for the "Global Townsquare", it's trying to build a POC for a protocol so we don't have to shove everyone into the same space with the same rules. It isn't competing. It's building a new way.
