I'm on field work in Louisiana and Mississippi. Got LA part done and drove for 7 hours to the next site yesterday. I find long drives are a good time to talk through upcoming parts of plot, character interactions & drives, & plan out what I'll write next. I was geeking out hard last night by myself.

I wonder why airports don’t have covered areas for the planes to pull into gates? Would shade them from hot sun, falling snow/ice, and improve safety & comfort for ground crews, particularly if lit at night. Wouldn’t have to be enclosed, just covered.

We had a good protest rally in West Allis! Sorry no photos but I turned off my phone and left it locked away. It was inspiring to feel the solidarity with strangers both in our crowd and among the honking passerbys.
