The 2025 season at #StChads was a Thursday afternoon monthly oasis. Where you could find music that was enchanting, majestic and joyful. And ultimately uplifting, imagine what 2026 has in store for us!

2/2 Lemare’s compositions were designed to show off the organs of his day, his symphonies rival those of his French contemporaries. The Scherzo (Symphony 1) has an energetic theme. The central section is lighter providing a pause before the opening theme returns & builds to a triumphant conclusion.

3/4 …Thunderstorms, those heralds of Spring, roar, casting their dark mantle over heaven, Then they die away to silence, and the birds take up their charming songs once more. On the flower-strewn meadow, with leafy branches rustling overhead, the goat-herd sleeps, his faithful dog beside him.
