Direct film adaptations tend to work better with self-contained stories that aren't part of a shared universe. Stories from Marvel and DC just have way too much continuity baggage to be directly adapted.

The goal is to make anything -- ANYTHING -- that P2025 views as problematic obscene. Lou Reed's "Take a Walk on the Wild Side"? Obscene. You can be arrested and charged for just listening to it. This is foundational censorship, dressed in the same bullshit Christian Values/Protect the Children bs.

if you haven't already, you should read Titans 2025 Annual #1. It's pretty great and it openly references the Technis Imperative.

It's such a shame that Eric Adams is a real-life person because he would make a fantastic Disney animated villain.

All the Charlton BLUE BEETLE from the 60s, I think. I'm not sure why they chose a Dan Garret Beetle cover when Ted Kord makes up most of the book, but if that's how they chose to go, I'd say they're missing a bet by not calling the book THE GIANT MUMMY WHO WAS NOT DEAD.
