Long week of work is finally over. At least for now as I know the big holidays are coming up. But in the meantime, I can finally get those new shoes I’ve been meaning to get, mostly to help my feet.

Thankfully, I haven’t done an Inktober in years, instead opting to create my own reasonable art challenges. When I have the time.

Spent another day at work, even though it’s supposed to be my day off. I don’t mind generally because that means more money, but even so, it’s exhausting. And I still need to get new shoes to help my feet since my current pair is worn out.

I want to eventually expand my manga pallet. Just slowly working my way through some series I’m currently reading.

After a few weeks, got to work on the belly scales and with some refining to go, I’m nearly done. Still debating on if I want to actually do the main body scales or simple suggestion of scales. I’ll decide later.

Despite my feelings, I’ll wait and see how the reception of Tron Ares plays out since I’m still very curious about it.

I still intend to do so, but after giving it some thought, I’m mostly waiting for the hype to die down a little.

The current animation community landscape isn’t sitting right with me for a number of reasons. Grant it, that some of the criticisms and outrage is justified, but then there’s the other side that is leaning very heavy towards hate-mongering and blind rage. /1

I’ll give KoG a watch at some point. Though still, it’s definitely worth supporting along with many indie projects.

Having watched this video, I get the very strong impression that some adult animation (particularly some of Bakshi’s works) go way over some animation YT’ers heads. I get they’re not for everyone, but even so, there’s a lot more complexities & nuance than they’re willing to acknowledge.
