I know you mean that from a good place, but please let’s skip the whole ‘maybe Russians don’t know what’s really happening’ and ‘oh what they even can do now’ bit. We’ve seen them cheering when Russia annexed Crimea . I know they are capable of using vpn when they need to. It’s been

That time of year again! Someone brought me some ducklings, but they were too young for me to be able to appropriately care for so they've been passed onto a friend who has an incubator. In return I've got some very opinionated teenaged pigeons 😂

I know it’s a lot of reports about attacks. But this is just how many we get at night, and usually much more actually. It’s absolutely impossible to cover every Russian attack on every Ukrainian city - so many of them so all the time. But whenever I can I try to ,

Surgery on the ankle went okay! Had bone chiselled away (surgeon's words), hopefully the joint will move a bit better now and reduce my limp/the problems in surrounding joints due to the limited range of motion

I've been told that these little wooden shapes used to decorate the Christmas market are called a "Павук", meaning "spider". It's been interesting to see the shift towards more Western-like Christmas traditions since the start of the full scale invasion.

Yesterday I had an operation on the bad ankle. The surgeon fished out the free floating bits of bone (seen below) and had a good look at the state of the joint. He didn't end up doing any bone shaving while he was in there, so I don't have to have a full on cast at least
