I've just realised that if you can sing "algorithm" to the Gershwin classic "I Got Rhythm" and I don't know what to do with this amazing discovery.

Last night, due to a fault on my home landline, I had no internet access. Mobile reception inside my flat is very poor so I couldn't use tethering. It's surprising how much I rely on the internet for so many things, from listening to the radio to ordering a library book to checking an address.

My home printer has broken down. Probably irreparable. And, sadly I think maybe this will be the last printer I will ever own. It really doesn't seem ethical to buy a machine that I use less than once a month, if that. What I need is a place I can go 24/7 which will print out from a USB or email.

What if there's a conspiracy to make us believe that it's cold, wet and miserable outside when really it's a lovely, warm and sunny day -- just a fiendish plot to make everyone in London stay inside while they have the parks all to themselves?

Two women screaming and swearing at each other in the supermarket in the continuation of a road-rage incident. I mainly felt sorry for the staff and for dad with a young child. Is it time to ban car drivers from supermarkets? I can see no other solution.
