Busted out the donor engine. The quick and dirty top end rebuild is gonna be DIRTY. Shit ain't pretty, but I can hone most of the garbage out of the cylinder, head looks good, and pistons are cheap. Gonna try to be back on the road by Thursday.

The power has been out since last night, so the morning was spent making my front wheel look classy. It actually looks like shit, but you can't tell from 5 feet away, so we're gonna leave it... also, it's gonna get dirty and gross almost immediately.

Can confirm that these Kenda Kosmic tires are pretty sick. Excellent straight line stability and confidence inspiring grip at aggressive lean angles. A very acceptable bang-for-your-buck scooter tire.
