Reading the docs of a few LLMs indicated they were using markdown internally. It makes sense that during the process of converting HTML to md HTML that they weren't using would be removed including the info contained. I would like to test the same things but as a query not summary.

This is only about the 100th article I've read that stresses this technique! That alone almost always means within a few months this will be a dead tactic especially when a lot of them are paid, reciprocal or self promotion. When users start complaining they'll have to do something!

This post outlines why keyword research is changing into a whole new method. Relevance isn't determined by matches to a query it's entities in the query corpus. So if your research isn't looking at the entities in the top results you're missing a huge opportunity.

For the most part I've treated GEO as nonsense. In particular LLMs.txt cuz NO SUPPORT from AI platforms and markdown for several reasons but mostly it possibly being CLOAKING.
