I painted this on the fly, letting the bloom of color in my initial wash direct the development. I think I must be longing for springtime flowers and summer sun in the midst of the atmospheric river and pouring rain for weeks on end here. My subconscious is dreaming of buzzing bumblebees 🐝🌺
