I still haven’t tried the Octopath 0 demo, might try to find time for it over the weekend. But, the previews I’ve read all emphasising the gods has me intrigued. Literally the only thing I want from this game is boss portraits of the main 8 gods. I have seen Aelfric’s in CotC, so I have hope!

Rolled credits on ZA. Honestly, much as I’m enjoying it and will probably attempt to finish it as much as I can, and I did enjoy the ending, not my favourite. Probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it so much if I didn’t have a team featuring 3 of my favourite Pokemon of all time.

It took me 30 minutes to find those damn green pigeon!!! I was going around and around in circles, certain it was on a roof. Honestly, the fact that it turned to night during my search is probably the only reason I noticed the lamppost in the first place!

I have just learned of another movement method that becomes available to you during the mid game of ZA and boy, do things make sense now. I think there’s a couple of areas I’ve run/rolled to that I probably shouldn’t have been able to access until later…

Oh my god. I’ve been feeding and getting close to befriending a widowed pigeon this week, making progress and getting closer and closer before it flies off. Tonight, I have seen two pigeons at the same time. I’m pretty sure it’s two different pigeons I’ve been feeding all week.

As I once again return to studying physics post Zero Escape, I really do think naming various characters after Greek alphabet letters most commonly used in physics equations was objectively really, really stupid, in an affectionate way.

Having watched/played FE all weekend (Yay, one last week of no study), I am now convinced that the arena in Fortune’s Weave is the one in Abyss in 3H. So I’m thinking a prequel taking place either before Garreg Mach is built or in the process of it being built, which would explain the scaffolds.

If I’m being honest, my lukewarm reception to Octopath 0 and Pokemon ZA had me concerned that I’m just getting older and losing my rabid excitement for upcoming games. I’m very excited to say that the fire emblem announcement today has set aside those fears. I am so insanely excited.

New job and upcoming uni might have slowed me down, but I’m still stitching!
