Recently finished this betta fish cross stitch that I’ve been working on off-and-on for the last 11-ish months! 😁🩵 I looove how many different colors I got to use for this project, 25 total!! 🌈🐟🪡 The stitching is approx. 7.5” x 7.5”, with many hours of work put into it. 🩵

Birthday again. I don’t celebrate them and haven’t really enjoyed one for years. However, this is the first one in a long time where I’ve not felt dread, so that is very nice.

Ooh, I’ve just discovered that an upgrade to my cross stitch charting software which would allow me to use 200 colours in one chart… Huge for Galdera, who I’ve completely stalled on because I only have 15 spare colour slots for the entire Omniscient Eye section…

Fuck it, I don’t normally post about my writing any more, but I actually want to try to do something with it this time. So, I’m writing again! For me! A new novel idea that will either end up dropped before the year end or as my second finished piece! Who knows! I’m having fun!

First walk back to work of the new year tomorrow and it’s going to feel like -9 C with a smattering of snow and ice. Considering it’s 20 minutes in good conditions and involves two hills, this will be interesting…

Yeah, sexy brutale wasn’t really for me, but it has kept me distracted this afternoon. I have also been playing OT0 but, much as I genuinely do love it, I’m just not in the mood for a time sink RPG right now. I have encountered 3 caits though, so I’m at least not having to grind levels!

Horrible double whammy end to the year of flu and period, so I’m distracting myself with a short game that’s been on my wishlist for a while: Sexy Brutale. Yep, get why it’s been recommended to me a lot, but im kinda not feeling it. Could just be the flu/hormones speaking though.

I’ve started a new notebook for OT0 for many reasons. Keep track of where I’m going/what I need to do in game, keep track of what I want to stitch. And mostly concentrate all my jabbering to one place. A lot of the notes so far contain many !!!! At the end. Tis good, when I have energy to play.

The sum of all humanity can be seen at a large Tesco just before Christmas. Holy shit, that was simultaneously an anxiety nightmare and one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

I’ve played like 3-4 hours of ZA dlc today, too tired to get into Octopath. I like the gameplay loop of the dlc way more than the base game, the added timer is kinda fun. Made catching the two shinies I’ve found so far feel a bit challenging!

The venipede patch is finally complete! It took forever and she still needs attaching to my fleece, but I finished her before the end of the year at least! #crossStitch

I encountered this line in OT0 earlier (character name obscured) and I think it sums up my feelings towards the game pretty well. There is something about the storytelling in the Orsterra Octopath games that really speaks to me. It makes me want to pick up a needle or pen and just create in thanks.

Oh Octopath Traveler 0, I’m sorry I ever doubted that I’d enjoy you before you came out. It has stolen my heart and mind once more. Two stories completed now, who knows how many more to go. I’ve definitely enjoyed the Master of Fame route the most so far, especially the third chapter.
