They all suffered damage via seal expansion, making their hose connections worthless but not catastrophic enough for free water

Time to look for yet another browser. It's getting so bad in all these industries. I'm running out of safe options to use. If I wasn't technically inclined in 2025 I'd be cooked.

Tonight is the second night temps will drop below 20 here on the SC coast (which is unheard of) None of my adjacent neighbors have wrapped their outdoor spigots and still have the automatic sprinklers loaded on them. My lawn is gonna get watered for free

Appetites be weird. Morning: I've eaten one Cheerio and I'm ready to start the day! Lunchtime: I will violently shut down until an entire horse carcass has passed through your digestive tract.

On the home stretch of carving foam blocks and you can see real time how much it's improved over the last couple of days. The first set I did look like Minecraft blocks and this current set look like environmentally worn blocks

I've been storing my power... biding my time to finally be in a situation where I could unleash the growing quantity of unframed art onto my abode. And the victim ended up being the refrigerator. Thanks

and

for all the wonderful art over the years!

I hacked my robot vacuum, hoovered all the data, drew a pixel art map of my house, and slapped the two together to watch it clean the house real time. Looks neat!

Bought an energy monitor, reflashed the board to talk to my house instead of a 3rd party cloud, and just finished cramming it in the breaker panel. We have our energy usage on lockdown now 👍

I wasn't satisfied with the options available for printable and customizable low voltage faceplates. Thus, I made them myself and released them into the wild with no strings attached. Includes 3MF and STEP files!

Just moved into a new place and went to get basics to fill out the place. Found an ultra thicc shower curtain with rainbow hearts on it on clearance for $5. Perks of being surrounded by (insert obvious ideology that hates rainbows)?

It's important to have specialized services in place to handle a component of a large vertical stack. AWS fills a slot in that stack and is very good at it. Downtime is close to nonexistent when we expand the timeline. When I buy a computer, I don't want to create the OS from scratch.

If you're doing construction on a road and assign a worker to mediate traffic going both directions on one lane, make sure said worker knows the signals and is not communicating in random wingdings. Dude with the slow/stop sign on the way to work was doing jumping jacks at people.

3d printer needed a new board. Dealing with Prusa support to resolve the issue was a frustrating month and a half long experience. Fun suggestions included "rotate your extruder". They did send a board in the end though. Printer is back up and running!

A friend of mine sent me a bunch of retro console rejects with a request to make some replacement parts. His requests usually imply there is no decent alternative out there. Wondering how viable it would be to set up a little store online to sell these in various colors

There is a bill right now in the US trying to pass It would make it illegal for any financial service provider to prohibit or inhibit any legal transaction It's called the "Fair Access to Banking Act, H.R.987 in the House, S.410 in the Senate" Call your representatives if you live in the US !!!!

Tfw you measure, measure again, and measure a third time then cut... and realize you spent all that time triple checking to cut the wrong part entirely. Anyway I bought more timing belts today for a servo drive.
