America cannot long remain free, nor first among nations, if it becomes the kind of place where universities are dismantled because they don't align politically with the current head of the government.

Cutting health care and food stamps is wrong. But that isn't the last word: now the bill heads to the Senate. Our nation is at its best when we stand up for those in need and for what is right. It’s time to remind our Senators why Americans are against this cruelty, and demand they do better.

Early this morning, House Republicans passed Trump's "big, beautiful" budget bill to kick millions of Americans off Medicaid and fund tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations - but not before they snuck in even more changes that will make life harder for the most vulnerable Americans.

That means some of the most vulnerable Americans – families, the elderly, folks with disabilities – won’t be able to get the lifesaving treatment, medication, or care they need. These are people you know. Reach out to your senators now to let them know how much this will impact you.

Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care. They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.

We should be investing in rural communities and making them better places to build a life & raise a family - not shutting down rural hospitals by choking off their funding. Saving rural hospitals is one more reason to call your Representative and speak out against this GOP attempt to cut Medicaid.

Shockingly wasteful. In the name of cutting costs - inventory worth $98M at risk of expiring instead of feeding the hungry. Shame on Trump, DOGE, MAGA.
