Every time I listen to Pet Sounds, I'm blown away how it keeps getting better and better to me. What a masterpiece. Brian Wilson truly was a special person, and he'll be rightfully missed as one of the greatest, most influential figures in American rock history. I wish him and his loved ones well. ❤️

Been asking myself the difficult questions lately, now that college is done. Mostly they're of the form "How much time should I/do I want to allocate to X part of my life". Music's absolutely up there in my rankings, but career is too, especially since without the former I can't support the latter.

It's okay to like things that only you like in your circles. Conversely, it's also okay to NOT like things your friends like, or disagree on certain things or beliefs. Of course, there should be some common ground between you and them, but you're your own person at the end of the day.

There have been many times when I've struggled at college, having to battle my very worst aspects in order to stay on course. Sometimes the voice in my head tells me I'm not good enough to belong, more often it tells me I'm too different from my peers to belong. Either way, it's surprising (and it sucks) how the human condition makes it so the smallest, pettiest things can send your emotions into an unstoppable spiral.

Gonna try and upload again this weekend, no guarantees it'll happen cuz it's midterm season, but I do want to try and get back into the swing of things.

Every once in a while, the Snow Miser/Heat Miser song gets stuck in my head for absolutely no reason at all. Or maybe the reason's because it's a banger, regardless of the season. Rankin-Bass was quite weird sometimes, but that song alone justifies the Miser Brothers' existence.

Hmmm... happened across something "interesting", though not remotely true, in my feed. Correa is still on the Twins as of right now and absolutely no other sources corroborate this. Besides, I'd take Chisholm Jr. and Volpe over Correa any day, speaking as a Red Sox fan 💀💀💀
