Happy Wednesday, gamers! Looking forward to some downtime at the end of the week, with how hectic this month has been. I've got an FF14 halloween event to complete and lots of spooky demos waiting on my hard drive. Life is good.

I genuinely think you're a weak creator if the only way you can create engagement is through constant ragebaiting and negativity. Tone is important because as influencers (begrudgingly) it encourages and attracts people full of aggression. Even if it's a "joke," some people don't see it that way.

Just finished the Red Line demo. I stumbled across this in Steam's Scream IV showcase and totally slept on this one when it dropped in 2023! Haunted apartment complex, two girls in opposite realms who communicate via a magic(?) notebook, and mysteries in need of solving.🦇 TW: Infant death, suicide.

The whole Emiru situation makes me think about how hard it is to speak up against abusers, but also how many people can be inauthentic or scare you into staying quiet because of their influence. Always be good to each other and hold your friends accountable, speak up if you see shit happening.

If someone says video games are childish, I say: childlike is where wonder breathes. Every battle won, every companion saved, every loss that stung… they weren’t distractions, they were lessons. Call them childish if you want. But games taught me how to be brave long before the world demanded it 😉💙

It's Friday and friends, between my job, blog troubleshooting, medical stuff, and general world affairs, I am TIRED. At least we've almost made it to another weekend! Hoping to have my Episode Aigis review out in the world soon to share my very mixed feelings about it.

Bloodwork done, the tech was so kind and made the whole thing easy and reassuring. I appreciate her so much. Unfortunately, next worry is a possible ear infection I've got brewing, which is a lot of medical fuckery for one Wednesday.
