I found this drawing of a Peugeot 405 Break based turbo diesel hybrid in a 1991 magazine. Does anyone remember seeing anything like it, or more photos of it? It was a series hybrid with a XUD turbodiesel charging the batteries, with two electric motors driving the rear wheels.

Around the time when I was a student, about to fully lock my taste in music so that it would never expand much further, I used to listen to White Ladder by David Gray quite a lot. I dug it up yesterday from Spotify and it still sounds so genius, so fresh, so poignant. Such a brilliant album.

The Clio-Colt is wearing summer rubber. I considered painting the steelies white, but my sloppy attempt at plastidipping them was luckily easily reverted. If they rust I’ll have them powdercoated white

An interesting thing is that while the base model, manual Skoda Fabia Explore has been priced just under 20,000 euros in Finland with the 95hp 1.0 TSI, you can spec it with a Sport suspension package for an extra 160 eur without having to add any other pack. It's a 15mm drop and likely little else.

Productive Sunday: As well as selling some old wheels and tires, I helped sell an old Citroën Berlingo Multispace today. It was a former beekeeper’s car they no longer had use for and were willing to let it go cheaply.

I'm still thinking whoever bought a new Jimny back in 2018-2019 and got it rustproofed got a great deal. You haven't been able to buy a new one in Europe for a while and the last ones were all two-seaters. Used ones cost far more than the first ones did new, plus you have to factor in inflation.

The Clio-Colt comfortably swallows four 215/65R16 SUV tires without folding the seats. And I found the button that opens the trunk (in addition to the one on the key fob)
