I haven't been around here much lately other than to scroll. Been crazy busy trying to catch up on overdue projects after I spent a few weeks moving to a new house. Not a bad problem to have, but I'm starting to feel the burn out approaching.

FINALLY playing Expedition 33. Been holding onto this until I was in my new house. Still not totally moved in, but the PS5 is setup and this is the perfect way to wind down. I get the hype. Also realized I was playing in expert difficulty up until the Blue Tree. Much more fun on Expeditioner.

Pretty sure I just blew my engine. I’m stranded while I wait for a friend to pick us up. On the plus side we broke down next to a Buddhist temple that’s going to let me leave my car here. But I don’t know how I’m gonna finish moving and I’m officially out of money. $1.68 left in my account. 😅

Welp. This is gonna complicate my move considerably this weekend. Another broken oil pan is EXACTLY what I need right now.

Yesterday I signed my lease! I'll be moving this week! NOW I have to call to connect the Power, Water, Gas, Get new Renters Insurance, Change my Address and voter registration, AND transfer my kids to a new school. Most of that needs to get done today. Each of these are tasks my brain hates 😅

Rest in Peace Roscoe. On Sunday evening we lost an F1 legend. You were the goodest of good boys and you will be sorely missed on the paddock. My deepest condolences to Lewis. This is a heavy loss.

Kids these days have no idea what data sounds like. They’ve never had to dial on to the internet. They’ve never put a program or game disc into a normal CD player. I think that’s a little sad. Mostly because I’m old and wish The Kids(tm) could experience the magic of tech the way we did.

We got approved! I’m gonna have a good place to live! Now to pay the deposits and figure out all the moving logistics.

Still no answer on my application. I feel like I’m stuck in limbo waiting for this. It’s so hard to get anything done right now.

Based on the artwork alone this so looks so cool! Love that gold leaf and dip pen aesthetic in the lettering. Will definitely be backing this when I get a little more funds in.

Ever since my phone updated to the new iOS, it's incredibly slow, burns through battery at an alarming rate, and doesn't even full charge half the time. Gotta love planned obsolescence.

Applied for a rental last night. Application was absolute hell. Because ADHD, It took me hours to get through. Had a few small anxiety attacks. Had my phone die during the identity verification that requires your phone. I’m gonna be so upset if I don’t get approved.

September has shaped up to be the best month I’ve had financially in years. Just in time to spend all of it at once on a deposit for a place to live. And the privilege of having my housing expense almost double moving forward. I need to find a live-in partner just to take the heat off rent 😅

I think I found a place. It's in the middle of nowhere, but it's a decent price, a good size, a quiet neighborhood, AND none of these things will disqualify me, only increase my required deposit.

I swear to god this countries relationship with housing is so fucking toxic. Shit like this is why people end up fucking homeless

If I see another listing with "Credit score must be at least 600. applicants must make 3x rent. No Bankruptcies in the last 10 years. No evictions in the last 7 years" I'm going to lose my shit. I literally meet NONE of those qualifications, and EVERY place has them!

Feeling very lonely today, but also very much peopled out. Too tired to be social. Just want someone to let me fall asleep on their lap while they play with my hair and tell me everything will be okay. Probably wouldn’t fix me, but it would sure be nice.

I just caught my 9 year old at the top of our cat tree. When I told him to get down all he would reply was Nyan. Not Meow. Nyan. I just realized I’m raising a weeb furry. The knee-length fuzzy cat paw socks should have been the first clue, but… Honestly couldn’t be prouder.
