Shayne Gostisbehere continues to be better than a point-per-game, earning his 15th in his 14th game. When healthy, he's been excellent this season.

Done with 20 minutes in Buffalo. 1-1. That's a major win for the #Canes. They looked like a sleepy team playing in their final game of a four-game road trip, and doing so without their captain, in the first 10 minutes. Buffalo's lack of discipline allowed them to get going.

Quite a chaotic sequence, with Buffalo ultimately being responsible for the contact that occurs with their goaltender. That's Ghost's 14th point in his 13th game of the season.

The #Canes have tied last year's team for the second-fewest games in franchise history to reach the 30-point mark (21 games). The only season in which the team required fewer games was 2021-22 (19 games).
