The turnaround Carolina's power play has had since early December, when Jordan Staal was integrated, can't be understated. Starting with possession is so critical, and it pays dividends in just seconds here.

Jordan Staal snapped the faceoff straight back, and the PP1 got to work. Tremendous job by Jarvis to win the strength battle and get the second bid off.

Rod Brind'Amour says he's hopeful both William Carrier and Shayne Gostisbehere can play tomorrow against Florida. Carrier has been dealing with a lower-body issue, and Gostisbehere "wasn't feeling great", so they kept him off the ice today.
