Constantly being surrounded by producers who are much more technically skilled than I am has been both an incredible learning experience but also incredibly overwhelming at the same time. Feel like I’m constantly in spaces where I struggle to feel comfortable with my own abilities as they are now.

I need to commit to actually finishing some music. I’m challenging myself over the next month or two to finish a 4-5 track EP (it might be unpolished but overall ‘finished’, no half tracks or anything). Announcing this publicly to hold myself accountable. Let’s see how this goes…

I’ve trained myself to endlessly tweak the stuff I’ve already made instead of extending the track just because I don’t have a plan for where it could go?? Why should I need a plan?? overthinking it once again oops

Sitting here staring at a project, realizing half of my burnout isn’t even a lack of ideas but the lack of motivation to just try new ones. At some point I think I conditioned myself to expect that everything I make has to develop to follow my vision from the get-go, instead of just experimenting.
