My phone just reminded me that 2 years ago today I had three partners that were all happy with our relationships. That perfection only lasted for about a month and then it got difficult for a while. But in that time is when I knew that being poly was who I am. When did you know you were polyamorous?

Let’s talk #sexpositivity I have found that most of the people that I want to interact with in the ENM/Poly world also embrace the concept of sex positivity. For me, the simplest definition is “I won’t yuck your yum.” What are your feelings/thoughts about this subject?

First Valentine’s Day in decades that I have been unpartnered. Fellow poly people, what are your plans today if you aren’t celebrating with someone? For me, I’ve filled my weekend with work obligations, so I’ll be busy, but the nature of my work means I’ll be around a lot of celebrating couples.

Breaking: A federal judge just issued an emergency order prohibiting Elon Musk's DOGE from accessing personal and financial data on millions of Americans at the Treasury Dept. — noting the potential for irreparable harm.

The conditions are in place until another judge hears arguments on Feb. 14.

This is scary.

The first post. So much pressure. Here’s what I want to say first: I’m a polyamorous human and have been relating in this way for 5 years. I’m not perfect, I’ve made a lot of mistakes, but I’ve also had some of the deepest and most lovely moments in life because of it. Let’s evolve together. 💜

When relationships end, it is very rarely the non-monogamy that “ends” the relationship. (a thought stream) Polyamory & NM reveal a lot of the underlying issues that a couple already had and it MAGNIFIES them. At that point, the couple has a choice: work through the issues, or break up. #polyam

A lot of couples will try, and fail because the work is hard and breaking all of patterns they created *while engaging with other relationships* is daunting. Yes, couples opening to NM have high break up rates. I always tell couples this (perhaps unwelcome) fact. #nonmonogamy

But this is only a bad thing if you consider the end of a relationship a “failure.” Most of the time, it’s an indication of growth and change. And it’s okay to end things when compatibility is no longer there.
