Meeting this morning with my PD counterpart for the charity game. Going over final sponsorship numbers, making sure Co. Logos are received, making the order for merch and game jerseys, and making sure all the money stuff is taken care of for now so we can just focus on hockey for now. Weh.

Week 1 down. Here is a #HealthFox26 update: Days at the gym this week: 3 Days doing "Activity": 3 (hockey, disc golf, biking, etc) Rest days: 1 (today!) Weight: 225 (⬇️3lbs) %BF: 26 (according to a scale... So probably not very accurate but a benchmark regardless)

Field work went well. Worked on my backhand grip and throw timing. Vast improvement. Took video earlier in the week and learned a lot. Finally put it into practice today. Very excited moving forward! #discgolf

After the haircut it's time for some disc golf field work. Trying to get this backhand more consistent and level. Forehand is solid for approach and putt... But drives... Eh... Need to get this solid. Have a safe NYE everyone. Please. Wanna see you fuzz butts in '26.

Time for a haircut. We have our Centennial photo for the department on Friday. Then I'm thinking about cutting my mustache. Dont know if I'll go through with it or not, but we'll see. Been nearly a year with it. It apparently suits me well... But I always do like to change it up...

On a personal level, this year has been a good year of growth. Started up a new hobby/sport with some friends, got involved with our new local hockey team on a level I'd not have imagined before, and decided to step back from cons. We've had some family stuff happen that's been a challenge, too...

Gonna be finalizing a trip to Vegas (Henderson) for a hockey tourny soon. Excited to get out there again and play some hockey at that arena in Henderson. And to see some friends again!

Last day of "holiday routine" here at work. That phrase has changed A LOT over the last 17 years.

ECHL players union voted to strike starting Friday.

Metcalf ("allegedly") punched/shoved fan. They are going to suspend him two games. This COULD cost him $45 million in some contract money. Talking heads are asking if this is "Too harsh" of a punishment. Um... No? You touched a fan. Get wrecked.
