Today worked on technical debt I had for some time. Before light was just 2 sprites on the character plus radial shadow sprite it was good enough for prototyping the look. Now I can have as many lights as I want. #indiedev #gamedev #oloo

It’s always takes me forever to figure out how to design levels. At this point I go with the same route I do during drawing, I know what I want but not how until I start sketching something and get more ideas and improvements, may be not the ideal, optimal way, but that what works for me yet.

It’s actually getting somewhere, I can now make movement more platformer predictable, even if it’s controlled by physics, since there is less things to care about. But now I need to figure out how to hook the view properly again. Anyway, quite exciting.
