I think, during my cleaning and treating my house for allergens, I caught a cold, which is my most terrible fear. I've been cleaning and running filters and removing drywall and letting fresh air in and SOMEHOW EVERYTHING IS GETTING WORSE.

As a new twist to the mold saga, I bought a mold meter and put it on the walls around my house until I found the spot that read OVERLOAD. The next step will be removing the wall! Thankfully it's a relatively small section, but we're terrified because we don't know WHY it's wet.

So my adblock is not longer blocking Youtube ads, which means my Youtube music playlists became SUPER annoying. Now I'm becoming reacquainted with all the old music I kept backed up on my computer. Man I didn't know I missed Squirrel Nut Zippers like an old friend until "Hell" came on.

I think the big thing that'll matter at all to anyone when it comes to the difference between this site and the old one is whether you can find things that actually make you happy. The perverse incentives to promote "engagement" are probably the same in either place, but people are moving for QoL.
