Every time someone's pokemon is the cause for destruction of gym property I find myself grateful to the League. Before, such damage would come from the Ito family's pocketbook, but now is covered by insurance.

I'm afraid I must announce the gym is closed for the day. Normally we would be open until 2PM on a Sunday, however... To put it bluntly, a trainer lost track of their Meltan and it got into the gym and has eaten away at the plumbing enough the entire first floor was flooded.

Today one of my former gym trainers came for a visit. She and her husband moved to Unova some years ago, but they're looking to move back to Japan. Her young son seemed quite happy to meet my Rhyperior, who his mother had spoken of quite a lot over the years!

Today I had a most marvelous battle. Kotone is going to have quite a difficult time protecting her position if that young one plans on going all the way! They are at the very least promising enough for a title success.

Mewtwo? I'm not sure I'm familiar with that pokemon. I keep up with the modern literature, and am curious about the possibility of an evolution of Mew. There aren't many Mythical pokemon that can evolve. In fact, I believe only Meltan is known to in my world.

Hifumi says I should post more than the occasional update about the coffee machine. So in addition to my lest post, I would like to announce that the ornamental magikarp in the pond at home have many a fry swimming around. We might have to give some to good homes.

The coffee machine was out of commission for three days. We thought perhaps this time would finally be the last she ran, but with a great deal of work, and a little elbow-grease besides, we have her up and functioning. Today she graced us with perfect coffee.

[In person starter] It was sunset and the russet sky bathed the Viridian City gym in an orange glow. Hifumi and the other gym trainers had already left, but Giovanni was only then closing up the gym, locking it with the same old-fashioned keys he'd received from his mother all those years ago.

Oh. Hm. Terrible. It seems the caffeine gods frown upon us this day. It might be time to do maintenance on the coffee machine. I'll probably have to get into some of the spare parts from the other models in the back.

While we confirmed the existence of alternate timelines when Team Galactic captured the Creation Trio, I am hesitant to simply believe everything I read on the internet. However I am not an unreasonable man. If this confluence of timelines is true, I will find out.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm not safe to be around when I haven't had my coffee, but certainly I'm far more pleasant to be around. Hifumi, the gym trainer who introduced me to this site, jokes that she can tell when the coffee maker isn't working well, as I have a cloud of misery around me.

The gym trainer who introduced me to this site has told me that it is typical to talk about your day, such as what you're eating. I'm not sure why that's interesting to anyone, but I'm happy to report that today's pot of coffee is delicious. The caffeine gods have seen fit to bless me on this day.
