The Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery Pre-Raphaelite galleries are reopening tomorrow, after extensive building work. The gallery is also celebrating a new acquisition, this Emma Sandys artwork, which was previously on loan. Will you be visiting?

Opening tomorrow, the new Pre-Raphaelite galleries at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. After extensive renovations, these four galleries, with over sixty artworks on display, are reopening. Are you excited to visit?

New Pre-Raphaelite Exhibition Announcement! At Perth Art Gallery, ‘Millais in Perthshire’, explores the relationship between Millais and Perthshire, Scotland. The exhibition is the result of a long-term loan of a private collection of 300 artworks belonging to the artist and his wife.

Dante and Devotion. Named after Italian 13th century writer Dante Alighieri, Dante Gabriel Rossetti published a translation of the ‘Vita Nuova’ (New Life) by Alighieri - a group of sonnets detailing Dante’s unrequited love for Florentine gentlewoman Beatrice Portinari.

Fidelity to framing the natural world, with American Pre-Raphaelite artist, Fidelia Bridges (1834-1923) #MondayMood. Bridges worked and exhibited her art in New York for over forty years. As well as embarking on an extended European tour in the 1860s and later, regular visits to the UK.
