The report assessed 16 leading forest industry companies. None of the companies were found to be largely or fully prepared to meet the EU's biodiversity targets. Certificates such as FSC and PEFC alone were found insufficient, as they shift responsibility to third parties.

🚨 New publication 📣 In this paper, with C. Bouget, we crossed 2 European databases and found that among other environmental predictor (e.g., tree age 🧓, altitude 🏔️...), forest dieback is a significant deadwood producer.
