I was burnt out on TTRPGs for a while, but I've really been loving this Blade Runner tale of malfunctioning replicants and dysfunctional humans. Definitely worth a watch if you're craving some sci-fi.

I know comic relief is not particularly synonymous with the Blade Runner franchise, but I've quite enjoyed the dichotomy between the (seemingly) strait-laced replicants and the wholly dysfunctional human characters.

Look at this badass! I am trying to play her as a badass but the goof shines through. ♥️

Mel is two weeks from retirement and has no idea what she will do without this job. She's been in Rep-Detect longer than anyone can remember and retired more replicants than anyone can count. Time for one last case. Mel is played by Tilly Steele and this character art is by @mike086.bsky.social.

Our first guest for Blade Runner: 2037 is the fabulous Folarin Akinmade! @akingmade.bsky.social brought hilarity and heartbreak to 'Urchins!' and 'Daggerheart: Shattered'. Now he plays Willis, an old hand in the Rep Detect Unit, hunting replicants long before the development of the newest models.

I watched Bladerunner:2049 as prep for this and am so glad I did! Such a gorgeously dark and rich world, I am so excited to play in it. And all the beautiful film noir vibes, and all the plot twists and deep philosophical questions. This is gonna be excellent.

Rewatched both films in anticipation of this. Gonna be awesome
