Minimalism done with pure confidence (while actually being done right) is an incredible thing. This applies to so many mediums. In a lot of cases, less is more, and I believe this more and more each day. Think about communicating an idea with ONLY the information that's truly necessary.

It's crazy to me that the parasocial Nintendo people now have to resort to calling others "broke" when they criticize their prices. That's where we're at now I guess. Mocking people's financial situations because they quite literally have no defense for Nintendo that doesn't sound totally hilarious.

I think we're just done making new games at this point, let's just milk the old stuff and then when we run out of old stuff we just start the cycle over again with slight improvements to the graphics, maybe throw in some micro-enhancements to the game but let's not get too crazy here...

IMO we should stop hyping up re-releases of ancient ROMs for exorbitant prices – There is no substance here, nothing special, nothing to commend. I feel like it sets a dangerous precedent to even react to releases like these as it only gives them less of a reason to even try 🙃

TAA never looks good... Looks absolutely terrible at 4K. So many games now only have FXAA or TAA as anti-aliasing options and it's just so lame.

Adobe straight up **deleting** a software people legitimately still use is absolutely insane. I actually have no words, this company is comically bad lol. Imagine doing this to your customers who are already paying $70 A MONTH to rent your garbage, bug-ridden, unoptimized, unfinished software. 😭

Hearing about FusionFix made me replay GTA IV recently, and it was incredible. One of the best pieces of media ever, and it now actually has a competent PC version. If you like GTA IV but hate the PC port, thanks to community efforts it is now just like the original console versions but better :)

Unreal 5 is so laughably awful. It's so sad. I really wish Titans of the Tide was on Unreal 4, because no matter what I do the latency on a 60 FPS cap is horrific. Such a shame.

Nintendo really sees Galaxy as their flawless magnum opus and I personally don't understand it at all. I honestly find the Galaxy games to be incredibly boring and the movement is a horrendous downgrade from Sunshine

Learned DaVinci Resolve in like a week and am never looking back. As someone who has used Premiere for 6 years I am blown away by how much more stable and fluid this software is. It is sad that Premiere is still the industry standard despite it being the most unoptimized, garbage software ever.

Game-Key Cards are absolutely unjustifiable to me. They're literally selling you a physical copy of nothing. I don't understand how wanting to pretend you own a game physically is worth the extra space it'll take up. They shouldn't even be manufactured, just pretend physical games taking up space?

After getting 120 Shines in Mario Sunshine again, I think I can confidently say it's my favorite one. The progression is very flawed, and the blue coins are unfair. But that's it. The amazing movement, music, level design, aesthetic, all of the good easily outweigh the bad to me. Sunshine is not bad

Nintendo is now *requiring* updates to play physical Switch 2 games. You can no longer play whatever is baked onto the cartridge if a patch is pending, regardless of whether or not you have an internet connection. This is an absolutely horrible precedent. Insanely anti-consumer, awful company

As the industry has gotten worse I've slowly lost interest in gaming as a whole. It kinda makes me sad because I used to be way more into it, but I just can't fake excitement for anything new anymore. The Switch 2 currently does not look good, and the anti-consumer stuff seals the deal. $80 games.

I am very, very surprised at the fact that the screen is 1080p 120 Hz. Surely there's going to be DLSS and frame-gen involved, but regardless it's still very cool to see. And 4K output is also really nice too. What is even going to be at launch though besides Mario Kart?

Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be getting a patch for the very first time, years later. There's gotta be a 90% chance they'll patch the hammer super jump glitch, which will make the fastest version of the game (by nearly a minute) inaccessible. It's a shame how problematic modern speedrunning is
