I keep getting comments on Gamebanana asking for Playable Ms. Pac in Re-Pac 2. It's not gonna happen unless a miracle occurs, because doing it justice requires FULL voice line replacement, and I can't do what I did with the Pac-Family Restoration mod and just patch some lines.

The Sonic DLC for Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac finally dropped, which breaks the current Pac-Family Restoration 2 mod. I will get to work on updating it to be compatible with the Sonic update immediately after my crappy internet actually manages to download the update to my PC.

An update has just been pushed to Pac-Man World Re-Pac 1. Yes, 1. Not Re-Pac 2. However, the only changes made are to UnityPlayer.dll and the uninstallation files. data.unity3d was left untouched, which means none of the packages it contains were changed. As a result, mods should be unaffected.

I can't keep doing this alone. I've once again hit a brick wall in the form of a CRIWARE audio decryption key that I cannot find. Despite all my searching online, I can't find this cursed key, which is required just to LISTEN to Re-Pac 2's audio out-of-game, let alone replace any audio.

WHERE IS THE FUCKING AUDIO DECRYPTION KEY? WHERE IS IT? WHY IS GOOGLE USELESS? WHY ARE ALL THE CRIWARE UNITY DECRYPTION KEY DETECTORS MADE FOR ANDROID ONLY? WHY AM I ALWAYS ALONE IN THESE TASKS? I CANT EVEN FUCKING PLAY THE AUDIO, LET ALONE REPLACE IT I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO PLAY THE FUCKING GAME YET

The audio of Re-Pac 2 is not contained within the packages like Re-Pac 1's audio. They appear to all be in the StreamingAssets folder. Probing the files suggests these files are unmarked ACB / AWB archive pairs. Unfortunately, I don't know what pairs with what, because the filenames are just hashes.

Good news: Re-Pac 2's files are NOT compressed! All the packages come separated, unlike Re-Pac 1! ...and although not all of the files are downloaded on my end yet, UABEA managed to open one of fully downloaded packages without issue. The moddability of Re-Pac 2 is looking good.

Notices to those anyone waiting on me to fix the stand-in characters in Re-Pac 2: 1. My internet is currently very slow, and there is no guarantee that my download of it will even complete today. 2. There is no guarantee that the game is even moddable like Re-Pac 1 (I will refund if it's not.)

There are known ways to mimic the Playstation 1's affine texture warping in Blender but I wish there was a way to mimic the Sega Saturn's quad-based texture warping as well. They're two different effects. I want to be able to simulate the way the PS1, N64, and Saturn all handle textures.

With MelonLoader Audio Replacement, I no longer have to worry about audio files interfering with other mods. Now, I can release this to the public. None of the MelonLoader-based texture replacers work. Most of them are purpose built for a single game. The only one that isn't refuses to do anything. I've been screwing around in Visual Studio, with no idea what I'm doing, hacking the latter mod's source code to no avail. I'm losing my damn mind.

In Re-Pac 1's mazes, specifically 6-4 and 6-6, where there was once Funky in the PS1 version, there's now duplicates of Inky and Clyde. This is fixable, but since Sue was also scrubbed from Re-Pac (she appeared in the background of PS1's intro), I decided to add her as well. No more dupes!

I never did vibe with the logo for Re-Pac 1. Putting "Pac-Man World" all on one line always looked awkward to me. Meanwhile, I think the logo for Re-Pac 2 looks great. So I decided to combine color choices and design elements from Re-Pac 2's logo with the original PMW1 logo to make something better.

I once stated that due to Bamco's horrific handling of Ms. Pac-Man behind the scenes (as WELL as publicly), that I wouldn't give them money again. Re-Pac 2 is an opportunity for them to be an exception. If I can mod Ms. Pac into it, they can keep my money. If I can't, then I REFUND THE GAME. (1/5)
