I just reached a new academic burnout phase: (a)"I'm a failure if I do this essay half-assedly" (b)"I'm a failure if I don't do it and fail this yearly course". It's probably going to end in a coffee-fueled writing spree, with ocassional bursts of crying. Extremely humbling, to say the least.

As someone who is currently living under an alt-right government: get used to a battery of crazy executive orders, laws, and things that can and will be challenged in court. Confusion is their main strategy. Organize in *real* groups, empathy and organization is the means of resistance.
