So many bookish events are using ai to promote themselves. Can you not? So many artistic vendors would love to work with them. I've stopped looking at bookish events to vend at because of this. I'm not going to lift an event up if they can't lift creatives up.

I had a Wacom intuos 3 that I loved! Worked for 11 years until my computer upgraded too far. Now I have a Huion. I like having two screens but in the future I may go back to a simple tablet and get a second monitor for two screens. This is the first time I’ve come across the word slablet lol!

You know what I miss? Being able to look through someone else's Likes. Those were fun rabbit holes to fall into and explore.

For a comic page it’s a little tricky to judge because I do them in stages. All the pencils first then inks etc. but I’d say a day or two each depending on complexity. Other Illustration work 10-20 hours depending on complexity.

LETTERING TIP FOR WRITERS: If you want me to letter something, include it with the dialog. I almost never read descriptions. Many lettering scripts don't even INCLUDE descriptions. Instead of "Panel 1: The monster appears and Debbie screams." make sure you're typing "DEBBIE: AUUUUUUUGH!"

Larian (BG3, Divinity) Sandfall (Expedition 33) Embark (Arc Raiders, The Finals) Owlcat (Warhammer) CDPR (Cyberpunk, Witcher) All using AI, whether caught or openly admitted. At this point, its safe to assume that all big games released after 2023 used AI. Let's stick to our backlogs for a while.
