I write a lot about the war on Iran but mostly about the numbers. In this article, I try to give faces to the “cost of the war” across the Gulf, in Iran, in the GCC, and in Iraq, especially for the most vulnerable. Even when analysing statistics, we should never forget our shared humanity.
