Given the prevalence of such tools in a regional assemblage there’d be a statical likelihood that we would observe similarities among them. But who knows? Perhaps the same knapper created both.

These may well have been produced by the same person and traded for other items. It took skill to produce good tools and there is a great deal of evidence to support extensive trade routes for such valuable items.
