Author of The Grief House Lover of all things ghostly
This is an earthworm. AN EARTHWORM. I don't know what they put in the soil in Croatia, but this bad boy is almost three times as long as my foot, and I have impressively large feet (size 8.5 UK / 10.5 US).

I have a little plea and it's this: please keep posting about things that aren't The Horrors. I am not saying to not look at or be informed about The Horrors. What I am sayingâwhat I am genuinely kind of begging you to doâis keep posting about books and movies and sunsets and pets and joy. Please.

It would save everyone a lot of time if the whole Republican Party and all their techy mates would just read The Future by Naomi Alderman.

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

This article ignores the fact that a lot of authors are totally fine with celebrities writing novels, just pissed off with the ones who pretend they have when they havenât. (I also wonder if
@davidmbarnett.bsky.social
ran over this guyâs dog, or something.)
